JOIN THE CRAYONS TO CALCULATORS 2010

4th ANNUAL CORPORATE CHALLENGE

In 2007, Corporate Express (now Staples) and the Boulder County Business Report teamed up to launch the first annual Crayons to Calculators Corporate Challenge.

Twenty-two businesses donated 195 full backpacks and $3,182 towards supply purchases. With your help, we doubled this amazing contribution in 2008! In 2009, the Corporate Challege provided 780 backpacks!

We invite you to get involved in supporting a great cause. To participate, fill out the entry form by June 15th . Display posters and informational materials will be provided by us to you in late June of 2010.

How you rally your employees to participate will be up to you: an email invitation to each employee; encouraging department members to work together to fill a backpack... an offer to match employee efforts with a contribution...putting a jar on your reception desk for loose change contributions... It's up to you.

The Crayons to Calculators Corporate Challenge begins in July of 2010 and wraps up August 7th 2010.

But it's not over then. In October, we will have a celebration party and present two trophies: the company that contributed the largest number of backpacks or cash equivalent, and the company that contributed the most as a percentage of the company's local employee population. This means that a company of any size can win. Trophies will be inscribed with the winning company name and will travel each year to be displayed in the new winner's location.
